New Website Under Construction!!

No photos in this post guys, sorry. I'm excited to announce, however, that you will be able to get your fill
very soon with the launching of Fotoworks! This is a new site that is currently under construction and will be dedicated solely
to babies, children, maternity, engagements, and weddings. This work is lifestlye art with a fresh feel, using only natural light and the expressions of the moment. These portraits have a very relaxed, casual feel and are created on location, usually in the clients home, where children are most comfortable and where I can capture their unique personalities and expressions. These are not formal, posed portraits. This style is meant to tell a story and capture the details and realities of life.
Sessions are to be priced starting at $150. If you would like more information on scheduling a session before the new site is up, please contact me via email or at 417-894-7607. Thank you for your interest and see you soon on the new site. Stay tuned for more details. Btw, the old site will still remain for stock work, landscape and other personal fine art work.

Baby Sophie

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing three week old Sophie.
Kristen, Sophie's Mom, was so nice and Sophie was a fantastic little model.
Thanks, you two, for making my day!!

The Arch

Well, this post is a little late. We went to St. Louis for a night last weekend, just for the hey of it!
To be honest, I had never taken photos of the arch and was excited about seeing it through the lense.
What an increbile piece of work it is! I've seen it so many times and am still amazed.

Downtown photo shoot with Swmo Camera club

This past Sunday evening, a bunch of folks from the local photo club, went downtown to shoot around. These people are so much fun. It's alway a pleasure going on any field trip with this club. I've learned so much from being in this club for almost 2-years now. Wow, I can't believe it's been that long. Time flys when you're having fun! If you're into photography and live in the Springfield, MO area, I highly recommend joining these guys and gals for a fun time and great learning experience!!
